Dr. Renée McCauley is a professor of computer science at the College of Charleston. She is currently director of the M.S. program in Computer and Information Sciences. Her scholarly activities revolve around computer science education, and include teaching, curriculum development and research. Her current research focuses on how students learn to write, debug and comprehend programs.
