Submission Information for Authors of Technical Reports
Who may submit:
Any member of the computer science faculty or any computer science or information systems major under the direction/guidance of a member of the faculty.
How to apply for a technical report number:
Send an email message to the technical report coordinator requesting a number and indicating the area, of those listed below, that is the best fit for your paper:
1 - Theory of Computation, Analysis of Algorithms
2 - Programming Languages, Compilers, Formal Languages
3 - Databases, Data Structures, File Organization
4 - Operating Systems, Networks
5 - Organization, Architecture, Parallel and Distributed Systems
6 - Software Engineering, Software Architecture
7 - Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing, Expert Systems
8 - Graphics, Visualization, Image Processing, Human-Computer Interaction
9 - Other - may include departmental policy, procedures, curricula
What to submit after receiving your technical report number:
An abstract in ascii.
The technical report in Word or PDF.
How to submit:
Send an email message to the technical report coordinator that includes, as attachments, the abstract and report. Include your technical report number in the email message. You are encouraged to include your report number in the text of the report itself as well. (See published reports for examples.) You will be notified when your report is added to the library.
